Early Morning Baking



I had to take a breakfast casserole in to work today for an appreciation breakfast. Decided to modify a french toast recipe shared with me by my friend, Elizabeth.

Quick, Easy, Yummy!


French Toast Casserole

Bring ½ c. butter, 1 c. brown sugar and 2T. light corn syrup to a boil.

Pour into greased 9x13 baking dish.

Cube or tear into pieces 1 loaf of bread … place on top of brown sugar mixture.

Beat 6 eggs – add 2 c. milk and 2 t. vanilla. Pour over bread.

Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Bake at 350 for 30 min.

Drizzle with caramel and sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
